Test Your Power with Mitas at the Paris SIMA show
Prague, February 16, 2017 – Visitors at the SIMA show in Paris will have a chance to win a mountain bike in the challenge corner at Mitas stand C 060, located in Hall 7. All they need to do is ride a stationary bicycle and generate enough electricity to fill a Mitas logo. Whoever keeps the logo alight for the longest period will be the winner of a mountain bike worth 500 euros. The name of the challenge is ‘Test Your Power’, and visitors can join in anytime at the SIMA fair between February 26 and March 2.
Andrew Mabin, Sales Director Europe and Russia at Trelleborg Agricultural and Forestry Tires, said: “Through this challenge, we would like to highlight the main features of Mitas agricultural tires: strength, power and durability. Farmers will transfer their energy to keep the Mitas logo alight, just like the powerful Mitas agricultural tires transfer horse power to the soil during tillage, seeding or harvesting.”
The ‘Test Your Power’ challenge reflects the nature of work in agriculture. It is as ever changing as the bicycle ride. That is why farmers need reliable, quality and strong tires that will transfer the power of their machinery to the ground. Testing their own power at the Mitas stand, farmers will interact with the brand; helping to fill the logo and energize the brand.
While testing their power, farmers will have the possibility to see the most powerful tires that Mitas manufacturing currently. At its stand, Mitas, part of the Trelleborg Group, will present the new 1000/50R25 SFT tire for high-horsepower specialized agricultural machinery like potato harvesters and self-propelled spreaders that will have its world premiere at the SIMA fair in Paris. Other highlights from the agricultural tire range will include a Cyclic Harvesting Tire (CHO), an Agriterra flotation tire, a Very High Flexion (VF) HC 2000 tire for high-horsepower tractors, and municipal tires.
