Mitas takes part to the 58th National Farm Machinery Show starting on February 14 to 17 in Louisville, (Kentucky) as the perfect place for agricultural experts to discover a wide range of radial tires made to help farmers and municipalities handle day-to-day operations, no matter the machinery.

Mitas Booth #5039 features tires that give farmers a big boost in load capacity, flotation and ground protection, with larger footprints that deliver larger yields, more safety and stability for operators, and greater flexibility to handle large capacity loads more efficiently.

Pavel Kott, Product Manager Mitas agricultural tires says: “All of us at Mitas have been working to give farmers solid tires in terms of new equipment, better traction, and longer service life. At NFMS, farmers will be able to see four exceptional tires made to manage even the most specific, heavy or all-season operations – Mitas High Capacity Municipal (HCM), HC 1000, AGRITERRA 02 Soil Protector (SP) and AC 85. They all aim to deliver extra strength and more flexibility to North American agriculture.”

The newest tires on display bring several benefits to farm, forest and municipal workers. The AGRITERRA 02 SP tire offers more soil protection due to its advanced VF (Very High Flexion) sidewall construction. Now with a 25% larger footprint than before, it ensures safe operation at lower tire pressure. In fact, the entire AGRITERRA line has been developed to significantly reduce soil compaction even with heavy loads.

The HC 1000 NRO (Narrow Rim Option) is made especially for today’s self-propelled agricultural sprayers. This radial flotation tire gives farmers up to 40% higher load capacity, increased flotation and ground protection due to both the NRO’s special construction and advanced VF feature. Its optimized tread pattern and more lugs reduce soil compaction even further. And, longer life, better durability and less fuel consumption means cost savings for farmers.

For a durable radial tire that works hard in the field and on the road, the AC 85 row crop radial has a wear-resistant tread compound to match a wide range of applications. Its large contact area gives excellent traction and long-lasting support for a wide range of tasks and on-road rides. And for all-season jobs, the Mitas HCM tire gives great traction on hard surfaces, mud and in snowy conditions. It’s an ideal silent running tire for municipal and road maintenance tractors and telehandlers with loaders and more. Its radial construction is steel-belted for high durability, with operators counting on good steering, self-cleaning and smooth operations.

Mitas team will be on hand at Booth #5039 to listen and show visitors the right tire to meet their specific operations and machinery, from serving family farms and municipalities looking for greater cost savings to equipping extensive fleets with the right radial to get the job done right.
